🌼 Celebrate Spring at Vallis Farm!

A joyful, nature-filled family day out

Come and welcome the season with us at Vallis Farm — a day bursting with creativity, play, and the simple joys of springtime. Whether you're here for the crafts, the food, or just to soak up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone!

🌿 Activities for All Ages:

  • Forest School Sessions (suggested for ages 4–10, but flexible)
    Nature play and woodland adventures led by our experienced team. Sign-up required below.

  • Bug Hotel Making
    Get hands-on and help create cozy homes for our mini-beast friends!

  • Scavenger Hunt
    Explore the farm on a fun and interactive hunt — a great way to discover hidden corners and surprises.

  • Lawn Games
    Enjoy classic games and a bit of friendly competition out on the grass.

  • Open Studios
    Visit the incredible makers who call Vallis Farm home. Drop in to see their work, chat about their craft, and take part in pop-up workshops throughout the day. More info coming soon!

  • Storytelling & Face Painting
    Let imaginations run wild with magical tales and colourful transformations.

  • Stalls
    Browse a variety of local and handmade goods — including farm-grown plants, crafts, and more.

🥗 Delicious Food & Drink:

We’ll be serving up tasty seasonal fare, including:

  • Slow-cooked lamb with flatbreads

  • Falafel with farm-fresh salads

  • Homemade cakes, tea & coffee

Come hungry — it’s all made with love and locally sourced ingredients.

🐓 Explore & Play:

  • Meet the farm animals

  • Dig, build and create in the sandpit

  • Swing, run and roam around the farm

  • £5 per person

  • £4 with Friends of Vallis Membership

  • Under 2s go free

We have two sessions running, each with 20 available slots.

Tickets are £5 per child.

Parking

Parking spaces are limited up at the farm and so are only bookable in advance. We encourage you to walk or cycle to the farm - there are footpaths from Frome, we are on the East Mendip Way. If not feasible you may come to the farm to drop off, then park in the bottom car park (Vallis Vale) where places are first come first serve. Please do not park on the drive way.
