Awaken to the Magic of Vallis Farm: A Dawn Chorus Experience

Step into the serene beauty of Vallis Farm during a truly enchanting time of day. Arrive between 5:30 and 5:45 AM and make your way to the main entrance of the farmhouse, where a warm welcome awaits. Ring the doorbell and step inside to enjoy a comforting hot drink before embarking on a guided tour of the farm led by renowned ecologist and bird expert, Rob Frith.

As the world around you awakens, we’ll immerse ourselves in the captivating sounds of the dawn chorus—an experience like no other. With Rob’s expert guidance, we may even catch a glimpse of the elusive barn owls that grace our fields.

After the walk, indulge in a hearty, locally sourced cooked breakfast, featuring eggs from our beloved rescue hens, served around the farmhouse dining table. This is the perfect opportunity to relax, savor the delicious food, and ask Rob any questions you may have about birds, wildlife, or the natural world around us.

The experience will conclude by 9:45 AM, leaving you with a full stomach and a wealth of knowledge to carry with you into the rest of your day (or perhaps you’ll be tempted by a well-deserved nap).
