Talk - Engaging communities with rewilding - Julia Galbenu

Join our first ever talk at the farm with our wonderful guest speaker Julia Galbenu, the Community Engagement Manager at Heal Rewilding. £6

Julia Galbenu is the Community Engagement Manager at Heal Rewilding and is giving her time to talk more about how they are engaging communities through their rewilding site in Somerset. Julia will be explaining about rewilding and Heal's first site in Somerset whilst delving into community engagement and how it is fundamental for rewilding.

Heal is committed to becoming the UK's first national rewilding landowner. By rewilding land across England, their work will deliver three major benefits to society:

  • Rewildling - creating spaces where animals can live freely and vulnerable species can recover.

  • Climate - helping to combat climate change.

  • Wellbeing - Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the peace nature brings.

Join us and find out more about the fantastic things they are doing with their site in Somerset that can be found not far from our location.

This is the first talk of a series at Vallis Farm that focus on wildlife, biodiversity, sustainability, climate change and regenerative farming as part of an ongoing project.

Attendees can arrive from 6.30pm at the farm and help themselves to refreshments before the event starts.

Any questions about the event or series please see the FAQ in Eventbrite or email robyn@vallisfarm.co.uk
